Construction

Made with low-loss dielectric displaced polypropylene films.
Safety Features

Tear-off Fuse: Protects against electrical abnormalities or thermal overload by activating due to overpressure, causing the capacitor’s upper indent to expand and disconnecting the internal fuse at specified limits.

Thermo-switch: Provides additional protection by disconnecting the capacitors promptly when overheating is detected, ensuring the tear-off fuse functions correctly.
Discharge Resistors

Integrated discharge resistors allow the capacitors to discharge to 75V or less within 3 minutes, compliant with IEC 60831-1 and IEC 60831-2. They can also discharge to 50V or less within 1 minute, meeting UL 810 standards.
